About Scott
Born and raised on a ranch in Northeastern Montana, I grew up with a love of the outdoors. Hunting and fishing has always been a big part of my life.
In 1991, I was fortunate enough to make it a full time job, guiding fishermen on Fort Peck Lake and hunters on the Missouri River Bottoms and in the Breaks.
In 1998, I became a Licensed Outfitter, and with our own property and that which I have leased from a few of our neighbors, along with outfitting permits for BLM and State land, I was able to put together a hunting operation that covers over 465 square miles of some of Montana's best hunting country, providing an excellent opportunity to harvest a trophy animal.
Sioux Pass Outfitters has been featured in several outdoor publications such as Successful Hunter, Bowhunter, Field and Stream, In-Fisherman, Walleye-Insider, Grays Sporting Journal, American Hunter, Outdoor Life, Bow-Hunting and Rifle magazines. We've also been featured in a PBS fishing episode "Vacations On The Fly" and television episodes with Columbia Country.
