Fishing has been real good for walleye at the dam end of Fort peck. Still picking up a few northern pike, too. I haven't had the downriggers on yet, so not sure about the laker and salmon. I did catch a small Chinook the other day while fishing for walleye in 19 ft, so that might be a good sign. I also caught an interesting walleye last week...... two years ago I got into the habit of cutting a notch in the tail fin of any walleyes we caught and released that were 27" or bigger. I did this to 23 fish that summer, now two years later I caught one with my brand on it again, it was 30.5 inches. I cut a half inch notch out of the bottom tail fins, this ones notch was now 3/4 of an inch, so I am guessing if it was one of my marked fish and it grew 1/4 inch in two years.
